Accidental Death Fund

As a part of IAAI's strategic plan, your Board of Directors is committed to promoting growth and engagement by identifying member needs, increasing value and creating opportunities for improvement.

As a result of that focus, in 2023 your Board voted to modify the IAAI's Active member $10,000 Accidental Death Fund to bring more value to our members.

IAAI now self-funds this member benefit. There are two key benefits to this change - the first is that this benefit is available to ALL members. Previously this benefit was available only to U.S.-based members. The second key benefit is the age reduction schedule was also modified so that all members are eligible for the full amount of the fund until age 69 on the date of the accident. The amount payable for an accidental death will be reduced for those 70 and older only.
