Voting for the election of an IAAI Second Vice President and four members of the IAAI Board of Directors as well as two Directors for the IAAI Foundation will open February 19. It is extremely important that you exercise your right to vote.

We believe it is your obligation as a member to participate and elect the most qualified candidates. Please do not let others determine the direction of this Association.

Voting Instructions

  • Only Active and Life members have voting privileges. Please check to make sure your membership is current. If you have difficulty accessing the members only section, please contact at the IAAI Office 800-468-IAAI or via email at iaai-membership@firearson.com.
  • You will receive an email from @firearson.com via Survey Monkey with a link to the ballot on February 19. The email may end up in your Spam/trash folder. This will be the only link you receive to access the ballot.
  • Voting will end at noon Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, April 16, before the Annual General Meeting at the ITC in Jacksonville, FL.

Note: According to the IAAI By-laws Article IV, Section 10A- Only one Board member (excluding officers) may be elected from each State, Territory, District, Chapter or Province and must serve at least three years as a member of the Board before being eligible for election to a higher office.

Therefore, only select one of the candidates from New Jersey running for the IAAI Board of Directors.

Proposed Amendment to the IAAI Constitution and By Laws

Article III, Section 4, Paragraph D

In the event of a vacancy on the Board of Directors, the vacancy or vacancies shall be filled by the President, from the list of those persons nominated at the last Annual General Meeting beginning with the candidate receiving the highest number of votes cast then proceeding to the lowest. In the event the vacancy cannot be filled in this manner, the President may make the appointment from the general membership a list of Past Directors who have served on the Board of Directors, satisfying the provisions of Article IV, Sections 9 & 10 of the Constitution & By Laws, with approval from the Board. Such newly appointed member or members of the Board shall hold office only until the next Annual General Meeting.
