Maintain awareness of other responding emergency vehicles to avoid colliding with them. Know the response routes from nearby stations and where they intersect with your route. If your vehicle is equipped with real-time apparatus location mapping, have the officer or front right seat firefighter watch the locations of other apparatus on the MDT or tablet and advise you throughout the drive. All crew members onboard should listen and look for other responding vehicles.
